NFC guard patrol system using an iPhone app

Turn a visit to a checkpoint into a record your supervisor can review.

NFC checkpoint tags identify the fixed locations along a patrol route. An authorised guard uses the Guard Checkpoint iPhone app to scan a tag, recording the guard, site, checkpoint, date and time.

From tag to patrol record

Install checkpoint tags

Customers source and install their own NFC tags at agreed patrol points. Choose tags suitable for the surface and environment, and test each installed point.

Authorise the phone

Patrol use requires a registered phone and site access key. The app is available in Australia for compatible iPhones running iOS 17 or later.

Scan and review

The guard scans each point during the patrol. Supervisors can review the resulting records through the web dashboard and daily patrol reports.

Try a small route first

Start with a few clearly named points and confirm the phone can scan each tag in its installed position. NFC scans provide visit records, not continuous location tracking or proof that every inspection task was completed.
